Le Jardin Due Roi Spice Garden

Le Jardin Du Roi Spice Garden is a 35-hectare working spice plantation and botanical garden on the southern slopes of Mahé Island in the Seychelles, set above Anse Royale. Modeled on 18th-century French spice gardens, it cultivates vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and other tropical plants while interpreting the island's spice-trade history. Visitors follow shady trails to viewpoints, join guided tours, dine at an on-site restaurant and café that use garden-grown spices, and browse a small shop selling jams and spices.
